Tally Ho’s stallion MEHMAS was big in the news this weekend, as he sired his fifth individual Group 1 winner. It came at The Curragh in the Group 1 National Stakes as Scorthy Champ powered to victory. He also had his consistent daughter Believing confirming her Group 1 Nunthorpe 2nd from in the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes behind Bradsell. She is a Group 2 winner over course and distance in the Sapphire Stakes. Mehmas's current two-year-old crop also includes Friday's Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes scorer Aesterius, who added the Doncaster contest to his earlier Group 3 Prix d'Arenberg win.

£55,000 is a typical spend for us, to unearth a top class horse i.e. the middle market of £35,000 to £65,000 -  a particular sweet spot for MPR - which includes CHAMPION EUROPEAN 2yo Toormore, Shouldvebeenaring, The Platinum Queen & The Strikin Viking to name but a few.
