Winner 87 of 2024: MASTER TECHNICIAN. Trained by Rod Millman, and ridden by Callum Rodriguez. The 'EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes' over 7f at Musselburgh.
A very progressive colt, who was very unlucky not to break his maiden on his second start. Another close third last time out, we felt he went up to Musselburgh with a great chance. Travelling strongly throughout the race, he soon disputed the lead and extended inside the final furlong. Another improvement by our 2-year-old Breeze Up Graduate to gain such a comprehensive first success in a valuable maiden. An exciting horse for next year for sure.

Timeform rated his maiden success with a 84+, saying: "Made the most of a good opportunity but probably improved in doing it so decisively; prominent, quickened to lead 2f out, drew clear quickly, ridden out; likely to progress further."
Callum Rodriguez spoke to the owners post race: “He has got a great attitude and is very professional. He jumped well, travelled strongly and was the only horse to not only sustain the pace but also extend its lead to win by such a wide margin. I can see him stepping up to a mile in the future, he hit the line hard. It was a good performance. He has shown great form prior to the race, but it was another big step forward. He seems to be improving and learning with every run. Well done to everyone involved.”
