Quality Street!
This stunning colt just oozes class, whichever way you look - we’d challenge you to find fault with our purchase! He didn’t quite cost the €900.000 that his sire LOPE Y FERNANDEZ himself set Ballydoyle back in 2019, however we’ve had to stretch to £75,000 to secure his services for our 2yo roster for 2025 and beyond. But looking at the quality his dam has produced so far, he was worth every pound. His now 3-year-old half brother PUROSANGUE was a listed winner at 2, and only beaten a neck by the Group 1 Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf winner BIG EVS in the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood. TROPICAL STORM has so far been 2nd in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes, and won the listed class Roses Stakes at York on his last outing.Every inch and ounce of him suggest he’s a Group performer in the making himself, so we’ll be making plans, just into the New Year, where those may be and what targets we can look to take in.

Under the Michael Owen banner at Manor House Stables, under the tutelage of the renowned Hugo Palmer, we’d very much hope we’d be taking in the likes of Chester, York, Ascot, Goodwood etc as well as £500,000 Harry’s Half Million Race in August. He could prove a very lucrative purchase, this fabulous colt. He had a pedigree to die for, and the sky’s the limit.

Pedigree Update: His half brother Tropical Storm (GB) - winner since publication, won listed class Roses Stakes at York on the 24th August.
Training Update (November 5th): Watch videos of him at Richie McGrath's Pre Training yard below. They are very happy with his progress and he shows a great attitude towards work. A very straightforward colt who enjoys his exercise.
