We want to see as many of you there as possible!
A genuine shot at an inexpensive Stakes filly!
We rarely purchase horses for 12,500gns - “it costs as much to keep a good one as a bad one” as the saying goes, and, “you, generally get what you pay for, in life” are two adages that have served us well over the years, when operating in the middle market of racehorse purchasing - however, we were firm of the belief that this filly represented outstanding value at her hammer price, given the precocity and talent shown by her 2yo sibling, the listed performer ITSATENFROMLEN who is currently 2 wins from 3 runs, including a LISTED 4th place to date. ITSATENFROMLEN looks set for a pattern race campaign and should our filly by Masar emulate her year older sibling in any way, the 12,500gns could read exceptional value as time goes by.
Furthermore, she qualifies 100% for the GBB Bonus Scheme – by winning even a Class 5 Band C&D fillies’ novice, she can earn her connections a £20,000 Bonus in addition to the day’s prize money allocations. There is no limit to how many such bonuses a filly can win.
Rest assured, simply winning these sorts of Banded races is not our principal goal, it’s merely a primary goal, chronologically.
We’d hope she can make up into a mid-season Stakes performer and qualify for the 7-furlong £100,000 fillies’ final, held at Goodwood in September, a race that George Boughey won in 2023 - our Alice Haynes filly Lexington Belle, finished 2nd that day, so it’s a race we’re particularly well versed in.
We’ll be hunting for black-type opportunities with her, placing her in the very best races for her owners to maximise her future asset value and of course placing her to win as many races as a 2-year-old & 3-year-old. George Boughey is one of the finest trainers of fillies there is, whether they be Group 1 sprint fillies or Oaks fillies - all fillies come alike. He’s a thoroughly upwardly mobile trainer who’s trained us 7 winners in 2024 alone, over half of them afforded by fillies.
Not to forget to mention, she of course also qualifies for the Tattersalls Somerville Stakes over 6f in August, as well as the Tattersalls Auction Stakes over 7f in October. With the incredible price money on offer, and Tattersalls having added an extra furlong to the latter race, you would like to think this could be a perfect autumnal target for this filly.
She is, wihout doubt, the right fit for George and his team.

Training Update (November 10th): She is progressing really well and is working through the breaking in process with comfort. She is lunging with one and two reins, stopping and starting on command, and long reining around the farm. She has also had a rider on her back for the first time - see for yourself how she is doing below:
