Training Update: A high-class handicapper with an official rating in the high-90s and a Timeform rating of 107 - still only a 3yo and Roger Varian recommended we keep him as a 4yo to try and eke out further improvement - still. We’d like to explore a mile with him and take in all the BIG, Summer prize money handicaps with the huge prize money pots that come along with that - e.g. our horse, THE GATEKEEPER won the 2023 running of The Balmoral. Handicap on Champions’ Day at Ascot, earning over £100,000.00 that day alone.

He is a lovely, strong and yet loose moving, with great presence and size. He’s from the first crop of the Classic winning miler Phoenix Of Spain out of an Acclamation mare who has produced black type performers already from a very modest cohort of stallions that she’s visited. We’d like to think that Phoenix Of Spain represents a significant stallion upgrade on her previous matings.
