WINNER 119 OF 2022: HEREWEGOHONEY, trained by Fergal O'Brien and ridden by Connor Brace: 'The Millbry Hill Country Store Mares' Novices' Handicap Chase' over 3m 1f at Catterick.
The weather was causing a few issues, in fact an inspection was held because of the amount of fog, but racing went ahead - although it was very hard to see most of the racing and the commentator did his best!
The popular mare was making her chase debut as well as going up in trip. A non runner, took the field down to three and she was chalked up as favourite.
Taking a keen hold, she raced in second, but after one rival fell at the second fence, that left her stalking the leader for much of the race and jumping well (at the fences we could see!) Connor asked her to kick on 3 out and at the next fence, she took the lead 2 and was soon left alone, as the other horse pulled up before the last fence.

Timeform rated it as a career best 117, saying: "Was left with a simple task sent chasing but did win her only point and has the potential to prove better in this sphere than over hurdles, this sort of trip likely to suit her well; chased leader, led 2 out and soon left alone.”
Connor said in his Racing TV interview with Megan Nicholls: "It was a nice start over fences and she jumped pretty well on the whole. We always thought that she would stay well, as she won an Irish P2P and on her breeding. Hopefully she can keep going forward now.”

Syndicate manager Tom says: "Well that was an interesting watch! I hope the horse who pulled up at the last is okay. She was a little free early on, but Connor did well keeping her in behind the leader. At the 3rd last she took a length or two from her rival with a super jump and she sauntered home readily. Well done to her owners - she has been a shrewd purchase, winning for them twice over hurdles and now on chase debut. Thanks to Fergal and his team for their work with her at home. We can't wait to see her out again.”
WINNER 120 OF 2022: RATTLING, trained by Richard Hannon and ridden by Alec Voikhansky (-7): 'The BetUK Over 40,000 Live Streamed Races Handicap ' over 6f at Wolverhampton.
From stall 1, she broke well and settled on the inner, in behind the leaders. As they came around the home bend, she was going easily and a gap opened towards the rail. She chased the leader down coming to the 1f pole and kept on strongly to lead inside the final 110yds, to win going away, by a length.

Timeform rated it as a career best t84, saying: "Resumed winning ways back on tapeta, getting a clearer run through this time and in command inside the final 1f, all 3 of her wins now having come at this track; prominent, stayed on to lead 1f out, kept going well.”
Alec said in his Sky Sports Racing interview: "It's nice to win on her again, she has done it very nicely. Huge thanks to the boss and Middleham Park, who have supported me throughout the season.”
