Ventura Royal routs the field to win at Beverley

A third career win yesterday, for the daughter of Teofilo and what a way to do it!

Turned out quickly by her trainer David O'Meara after her run at Ayr 5 days ago, she ran in the 1m 1/2f 'Season Finale' handicap at Beverley. She took a keen hold under Danny Tudhope and raced wide early. Danny had her close up, moving around the bend, still wide, to take the lead 5f out. Crossing over to the stands rail in the straight she was still bowling along in front over 2f out. Danny took a look around the see what was happening and as he began to push her to maintain her run, she pulled well clear, staying on to win by 5 lengths!

Well done to her owners who look very pleased, as they should, in the winners enclosure!
