WINNER 11 OF 2024: HOW IMPRESSIVE, trained by Hugo Palmer and ridden by Brandon Wilkie (-3): The 'Unibet More Boosts In More Races Apprentice Handicap' at Kempton, over 7f.
Winning at Lingfield nine days ago with a career best RPR of 86, he came to Kempton as favourite to take this race, under the 5lb penalty.
Settling in behind the leader, as they came into the home straight the gap opened up on the inner for him to make his run. Shaken up, he took the lead 2f out and edged right against the rail. A challenger was swooping down the outer, but as Brandon kept a close watch over his shoulder in the final furlong, he kept on well, to win by a length.

Brandon said after the race: "He's done that handy enough, I just had to keep him at it. He should be alright for tomorrow - he's got plenty of ability!"
Timeform gave him a career best p89+ performance rating and say: "Is an improved performer this year and followed up in ready fashion, looking a straightforward ride without headgear the last twice; prominent, travelled well, quickened clear under 2f out, pushed along 1f out, just kept up to work; will continue to give a good account."
Syndicate manager Tom says: "Well done again, to his owners on his win last night - the fourth of his career. He ate up and jogged up sound this morning, so we will take our chance at Chelmsford on Thursday evening - Brandon will be back in the saddle, as he goes for his hat-trick!"
