WINNER 61 OF 2023: HEREWEGOHONEY, trained by Fergal O'Brien and ridden by Daire Davis (-7) : The 'Market Rasen Festival Hall Handicap Chase' over 3m 3.5f at Market Rasen.
She had won over 3m 1f before, but this was her first start up in trip. Travelling strongly, she was held up in last and was jumping well. Making smooth headway from the 14th fence, she moved up to press the leader at the 16th. Going well, she led before 3 out, just pecked on landing at the 2nd last, where Daire lost his cap and sat well, then pecked on landing again at the last, but went further clear in the run-in, to win comfortably by 20 lengths.

Timeform rated it as a career best 121+ performance, saying: "Wasted no time getting back on track under a change of jockey, in the process providing this conditional with his first success over fences; dropped out, smooth headway out wide back straight, took over leaving home turn, drew clear from 3 out, in control when pecked badly last 2, ridden out run-in.."
