Bought for only 9,500gns at the Tattersalls July Sale; the beautifully bred and lightly raced daughter of Lope de Vega looks like the bargain purchase we hoped she might be. The 4-year-old went off second favourite in the 10-runner field. After leaving the stalls well from her low draw, Callum managed to sit in behind the leading pair, where she settled nicely. Unassuming gained the lead when turning for home and drew further clear inside the final furlong, before being eased down by her jockey, to win impressively by 2 ¾ lengths. She looks like an exciting prospect for an All-Weather campaign, and we can't wait to see her progress.

Timeform rated her success with a t80+, saying: "Making handicap/all-weather debut, on first outing for 5 months/since leaving Joseph Patrick O'Brien, proved a different proposition and made a mockery of her opening mark, looking set to win by a wide margin before eased right down; prominent, travelled well, loomed up early in straight, produced to lead under 2f out, went 4/5 lengths clear, heavily eased final 100 yds, impressive; will be very hard to beat under a penalty if taking up one of the entries she holds in the coming days, but will remain of plenty of interest beyond that as well, still totally unexposed."
