Lexington Rebel wins on his second start

LEXINGTON REBEL showed his class when winning on his second start for RICHARD HANNON.

4th on debut at Ffos Las over 6f, he showed greenness but on his return to the race course, this time at Chepstow and over 5 furlongs, he showed what he has under the bonnet, even though he was still ‘learning on the job.’

“Slowly into stride, chased duelling leaders, closed on them over 2f out, soon shaken up, led 1f out, hung left early inside final furlong, comfortably” said the Racing Post and his jockey Pat Dobbs said afterwards that he always knew he would catch the leaders despite missing the break.

His syndicate manager Tim and Richard think he is up to pattern company next and he has an entry in a Group 3 at The Curragh on Friday 30th August.
