Another Saturday double and our 5th in a row!

BOITRON followed up his impressive debut win at Newbury with victory at Doncaster yesterday.
He is another nice son of Le Havre for us with Richard Hannon and we liked the At The Races commentary as he passed the line "Boitron remains unbeaten and could be a useful prospect." He remains on course for either the Group 3 Acomb Stakes at York or the Group 2 Champagne Stakes on St Leger day back at Doncaster and will appreciate the extra furlong.
Well done to his owners and to his jockey Andrea Atzeni-who had six rides at the track; winning four and coming second in two!
GRISE LIGHTNING then brought up another MPR Saturday double, when winning at the Hamilton evening meeting. Hats off to her trainer Richard Fahey as she won after being off the track for 326 days, under a super, patient ride by Jack Garritty. This was just her third start after placing 2nd and 4th last season, having been given time to grow. Being by Wootton Bassett we always had her 3 year old career in mind as her peak opportunity to shine and Jack said in his post race interview that she won despite still being inexperienced, so she looks exciting.
Congratulations to her owners and we hope you enjoyed the taste of your winner’s champagne!
From our 7 runners yesterday, only one was out of the winners’ enclosure, so not a bad day at the races for our owners.
