Winner 52 of 2024: THE DRAGON KING, trained by Clive Cox and ridden by Rossa Ryan. ‘Download the Racing App 43 Now Nursery Handicap’ over 5f at Windsor.
Back-to-back wins for our 2-year old son of Invincible Army! It was a competitive nursery on paper, with plenty of decent form on show and The Dragon King as well as 86-rated Siegen sent off joint favourites. Our last time out winner looked magnificent in the paddock, having enjoyed a short break since his last race, with his coat gleaming in the sunshine. He jumped well and sat prominently just behind the leader, before being shaken up to dispute the lead within the final furlong. He showed a brilliant attitude to stay on strongly and hold off all challengers.

Timeform rated his second victory with an 86, saying: "Whose stable is going well, progressed again and followed up from 9 weeks earlier switched to a nursery, displaying a cracking attitude; handy, ridden early in straight, led final 50 yds, proved determined; bred to be useful and he can't go up much for this success."
Rossa Ryan spoke to Matt Chapman of Sky Sports Racing after the race: “He looks a great buy; he is a nice, well put together horse. He will improve again when stepping up to 6f, he possesses a great turn of foot and is still green when he hits the front. He could be a big player in some of those sales races later on in the year.”

A delighted Syndicate Manager Tom: "I was extremely taken by that performance, he showed a fantasticly willing attitude to see off multiple winning rivals. He has certainly strenghtend up since the last time we saw him, and we are very excited for a step up to 6f. We will be taking in the valuable sales races later this summer with possibly another stop before then."
Winner 53 of 2024: GIORGIO M, trained by George Boughey and ridden by Billy Loughnane. ‘Get Raceday Ready Handicap’ over 7f at Wolverhampton.
Brilliant to see Giorgio M back in the winner’s enclosure, and giving us our 7th double of the season. Having been in the price money on all his previous starts this year, including one win and a second place, our 3-year-old son of Profitable was quick out of the stalls and able to control the race from the front. Billy managed to get a nice breather into him, before kicking clear when turning for home and always holding on to win by 1 ¾ lengths.

Timeform rated his success with a t89: "Got back on the up, looking far more straightforward for a change of tactics and addition of cheekpieces; made all, kicked on 2f out, always holding on."
Billy Loughnane spoke to us afterwards: "He travelled well in front, we managed to get a nice easy lead and the cheekpieces definitely helped him to stay focused. The 7f seem to be his ideal trip for now. Well done to his owners, he got the job done nicely today."
