A double at Leicester from Indomeneo and Rita's Man takes us to the 80 winners mark this year
Tue 10 Oct 2017
At Leicester (a track we get on really well with!) RITA'S MAN won his third race this season for Richard Hannon, under Kieran O'Neill. The duo made all and were not for catching either!
The Richard Fahey trained INDOMENEO recorded his fourth win today, also at Leicester, under Adam McNamara in the feature 'Conditions' race on the card, which earned him over £15,000. He has been such a consistent colt, having run 8 times and being 2nd three times on top of his 3 victories.
He was our 29th 2 year old race winner and brought up the 80th win of the year.
Well done to both sets of owners.
We also saw two impressive debuts at Newcastle this evening: Firstly from the Keith Dalgleish trained BROKEN WINGS. The daughter of Canford Cliffs started slowly and showed greenness, but finished with a real burst under Connor Beasley to take 2nd, over 3 lengths ahead of the third horse.
Then we saw WAARIF also take 2nd under Danny Tudhope, in his first race for ourselves and David O'Meara, as we bought him at the Tattersalls H-I-T sale. He really stuck his head down and ran through the line. Both to watch out for next time out.
.....and today leaves us just £4,186 short of the £1million in prize money this year!
