Divine Spear gets a thrilling 'Festival' entry

Calls to and from our trainers are part of the routine at MPR for one of our syndicate managers, but just sometimes they can cause a flutter of emotion that we can't wait to pass on to the owners of a horse. When Tom spoke to Nicky Henderson earlier today, this was just one of those conversations!

We are honoured and delighted that Nicky has entered our unbeaten novice chaser DIVINE SPEAR, in the Grade 1 JLT Novices' Chase at The Cheltenham Festival. He also has the Listed Close Brothers Novices' Handicap Chase as a target, which ourselves and Mr Henderson are looking to get him qualified for.

Needless to say, his owners are very pleased. Having already paid for himself with career earnings of £43k, our son of Oscar has already given them a rarity in racing.
