Winner 22 of 2025: ZIGGY’S ARIEL, trained by Alice Haynes, and ridden by Kieran O’Neill. ‘Evening Racing On Friday 9th May Handicap’ over 6f at Ripon.
Ziggy’s Ariel got off to a great start and disputed the lead from the start but was under attack early from the eventual second placed horse. Under a great front running ride from Kieran O'Neill, she was very game and battled hard to the winning post to win by a neck. A great performance by our now 3-time-winning daughter of Inns of Court.

Timeform rated her victory with a 85: "Was well backed and produced a career best reverted to front-running tactics back on turf, carrying the runner-up right as that one made his challenege certainly aiding her cause; ridden over 1f out, hung right final 1f, kept on."
