Purchased at the Goffs UK Breeze Up sale, this filly is by COTAI GLORY, the sire of our Group 1 and Award winning 2yo filly The Platinum Queen, so we’ve always had a soft spot any of his progeny and when we saw this filly ‘whoosh’ passed us in her breeze, we were determined to take the prospect of purchasing her very seriously indeed.
You don’t have to take just our word for it, though, given she performed the fastest gallop out (ie the fastest finishing performance) of the whole 200+ Breeze Up cohort, no less. You can imagine our delight, therefore, to be able to secure her for just £68,000 - a very pleasant surprise, that’s for sure. She looks like exceptional value, to our minds anyway.

She’s a lovely, strapping individual who is not just a here and now filly, she’s destined to train on too, in our opinion, and we can look forward to plenty of action. She’s very sound indeed and her pedigree suggests she can be fully effective and both sprint distances as well as stretch out a tad beyond there too, given her long stride and physique. She could easily take high rank amongst this year’s 2yo filly cohort, fingers crossed.
Training update (14th May): David says: “She’s settled in brilliantly and the jockeys here love her. Her stalls work was great this morning (see the video below) and she has been for a gallop at Tim Easterby's grass gallop and was quick! Billy Garritty rode and thought that she could start off over 5f or 6f, so it looks like we’re in good shape." Her race entries/declarations, will show on this page. She has been declared to debut in the Listed Marygate Stakes at York on Friday.
