Woodside Wonder defies his penalty to win for the third time
Thu 20 Dec 2018
After his first try at 7 furlongs last week, he certainly proved that his win at Kempton was no fluke! Adam Kirby said that he was strong at the end of the race and pricked his ears as he crossed the line in front at Lingfield yesterday. The Racing Post commentary said "Made all and dictated gallop, ridden and quickened entering final 2f, driven over 1f out, stayed on strongly and in command inside final furlong."
The plan is that he travels from Lingfield to Chelmsford today with Keith’s other runners and then up to Wolverhampton on Friday to race in the 7f nursery and try for his hat-trick, however he’ll only run if Keith is happy that he has come out of the race well enough.
He is certainly looking like he is loving bowling along in his races and will give his owners some fun as a 3 year old. Well done to them all on another win!
