WINNER NUMBER 12 & A WINNER WAITING TO HAPPEN AT REDCAR..
NOAH AMOR won nicely yesterday at Redcar under Barry McHugh. This was Noah's first run from the stable of Richard Fahey and the second of his career. Congratulations to his owners.
VENTURA GOLD was the first of our 2 year olds to debut from the flying Richard Fahey stable. Working very well at home this sizeable and scopey son of Red Jazz produced a very eye catching debut where, had lady luck been on our side one would imagine he would have been in the winners enclosure. He found all sorts of trouble in running having to be switched twice and then ultimately snatched up in the final 100 yards. Don’t just take our word for it, here’s the racing post’s view:
“Picking up well inside the final 2f and would have finished much closer with a clear run. This rates a promising debut over a trip that looked short enough”
He had the ultimate hard luck race but he wasn’t given a hard time of things, we have already found a suitable race for him, at Beverley on May 1st, where the stiff finish will play to his strengths and the conditions of the race limit the cohort of horses who can take part. With the experience under his belt and a shade more luck in running we imagine him to go very close in this race.
