VENTURA GOLD backed up his win last time out at Leicester 16 days ago very gamely for Richard Fahey yesterday at Musselburgh. Under a strong Sean Davis ride, the pair made all the running and battled back after being headed in the closing straight. This was his 5th career win and he has been in the winners enclosure on 13 occasions for his owners-what a lovely horse he is.
Richard's apprentice jockey Sean, who currently claims 5lbs, is riding superbly and had his first UK double yesterday, so well done Sean.
