Our brave and genuine Ziggy’s Phoenix produced another career best to take her record over the same course and distance to 2 – 2. She was not for passing under a well-judged front running ride by Sean Levey. Despite her drifting across the track in the closing stages, she stayed on strongly and galloped out a very game winner of the only non-juvenile race on the card, the mile fillies' handicap. Ziggy's Phoenix is now a 5-time winner.

Timeform rated her 5th success with a 90: "Found some progression just when her form seemed to have levelled off, a return to front-running tactics for the first time since springing a surprise over C&D in the spring presumably a factor; led, pushed along around 2f out, hung left over 1f out, tackled final 100 yds, had nothing to spare."
Syndicate Manager Tim Palin said after the race: "Congratulations! What a legend she is, and a brilliant ride from Sean. She almost nicked two lengths at the start and then again in the closing stages. Great ride, great performance and so tenacious near the end. It was fantastic to see her doing it all over again at HQ. Timeform are giving her a rating of 90 for this performance, which is borderline blacktype, so it was definitely a career-best performance."
