CHELMSFORD - 1m 2f Class 4 handicap

Racing Post commentary: "Made all, went clear with runner up over 2f out, hard driven and battled on gamely inside final furlong, all out."

Now it's 2 winners for us in 2019, thanks to STAR OF SOUTHWOLD, with his 2nd career win last evening. We are delighted for his owners, after his 3rd, then recent 2nd, it was fate that a win was due for him and jockey Luke Morris next!

We must thank Mick Appleby Racing, it was great to see him return to the winners enclosure (and see Luke get a kiss from an owner on Racing TV, which Oli Bell commented on!)

We will now see what the handicapper does next Tuesday, as we have a few races in mind for him, both here and in France, where he qualifies for owners premiums. Congratulations to his owners.
