Sebastian Woods get it perfectly right to win on Right Action
Wed 27 Dec 2017
It was lovely to see the Richard Fahey trained RIGHT ACTION win at Wolves yesterday. He's been running well all season, placing 2nd three times and by frustrating distances too; a nose, a head and 1/2 a length, so to get the win, we were over the moon for him and his owners. He was given a really super ride by Sebastian Woods who timed it perfectly. Thank you to owner Paul for the photo-as he was the only owner there, he had a fabulous afternoon sipping all the champagne with his family! Well done to him and the whole syndicate.
In fact, we didn't do too badly over the last two days-from our five runners, we placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th-a "full house"!
I WAS ONLY JOKING, our other Richard Fahey runner, placed 2nd; 8 lengths in front of the 3rd placed horse. This was only her second career start and the first on the all weather. She will do well as a 3 year old, as she is quite a big filly and was still a little green in the home straight-one to look forward to next year.
BLUE HARMONY also ran well in 3rd for Karl Burke. Running a little in snatches, she rallied well in the final furlong and there was just 1/2 a length between the first three and another 3 lengths back to the rest of the field.
So this means we are now on 89 winners for the year, with 91 2nd's and 93 3rd places. There are more runners to come before the year is out, so we can't wait to tally up our end of year stats for our newsletter on Monday!
