One Hart pulls clear at Hamilton and is our 36th winner of the year

8 days ago at Hamilton, ONE HART made his debut for Mark Johnston over 6f. He was very green in the preliminaries and during the race, but still managed to take 2nd place under Franny Norton by just 1/2 a length.

Yesterday. the pair returned over course and distance and the professionalism was there for all to see. So, when you often hear "the horse will learn a lot from experience" here's a prime example! Fast out of the stalls, travelling very sweetly, Franny tracked the leader, coasting to the lead over 2f out, he just needed to push him clear in the final furlong to go on to win by 5 lengths. He was picked by the Racing Post as their meeting 'eyecatcher' on debut AND once again yesterday (see the gallery). We have a feeling that this colt has a very bright future!
