Lexington Palm wins on her second start
Tue 02 Oct 2018
Thankfully the ground was more forgiving for our daughter of Elzaam at Caterrick yesterday! She made her debut on heavy ground at Ayr and floundered somewhat. Yesterday, she pinged out of the stalls under Connor Beasley and made all to win the 6f novice race. Joined 1f out, she kept on well and showed a game attitude to fight off the challenger. Quite a shock to see her win at odds of 28/1!
It's nice to have another daughter of Elzaam with Keith Dalgleish, after the success of our Listed winner and multiple black type earning filly Clem Fandango, who has gone on to be a broodmare.
She is our 78th winner of the year, which means we now need 7 to reach 1,000 winners since we were formed.
