Lexington Empire is winner 66 of the year

The David Lanigan trained LEXINGTON EMPIRE was back to winning ways at Chelmsford last evening.
Pictured recently on the Newmarket gallops, the son of Intello showed the field a clean pair of hooves in the final race to win well. Sitting in behind the leaders and hitting some trouble 2 furlongs out, he had plenty left to still pull away from the field under Daniel Muscutt to win by 2.5 lengths.
His syndicate manager Tom said "It was great to see him come out and get right back on the winning train following his victory at Wolves. He'll have a couple of entries but let's see what the handicapper does on Tuesday!"
Well done to his owners!
