Feel The Force
Tue 27 Jul 2021
WINNER 55 OF 2021: Dynamic Force, trained by Robert Cowell and ridden by Danny Tudhope: 'The EBF Maiden Stakes' over 5.5f at Ayr .
Always a nervous time, when a 2-year-old makes its debut, especially so, having travelled from 'home' in Newmarket to Ayr. However, this colt has always had a professional attitude since we purchased him at the Goffs UK breeze-up sale in April and looked a picture in the paddock.
He was the only debutant in the race and even though he broke well, he was squeezed getting into stride and was left 'a couple of lengths adrift' as the commentator remarked. Danny kept his cool and his long stride and easy movement quickly closed that gap and he pulled him on the outer 2f out, making smooth headway which made us all sit up. All Danny needed to do was to give him a nudge and he moved into the lead at the 1 pole, soon pulling clear. Danny looked over his shoulder and just allowed him to glide home under hands and heels, to win by 4 lengths, with his ears pricked on the line.
"You have to say that has the wow factor." Watch the full race replay here: https://www.racingtv.com/videos/watch/horse_racing_replays/342464-ebf-maiden-stakes-5. In the Racing TV studio, they remarked what "a tremendous performance" it was, with Dave Nevison saying "you have to be seriously impressed." Following the end of the days racing at Ayr, the team on track commented "We saw an above average 2-year-old in the maiden. Wasn't best away but fairly romped to victory by 4 lengths."
Timeform have given him a rating of 94p and say of the race: "Created a tremendous impression first time out, about as impressive as it's possible to be in beating some admittedly ordinary opposition; held up, ran green early, headway on bridle under 2f out, led approaching final 1f, eased clear; he's worth an immediate rise in grade.”

The Racing Post made him their 'Star Performer' on the card, saying "Dynamic Force (1.45) made a very impressive winning debut and could be smart." Read their full story here: https://www.racingpost.com/news/race-reports/hes-got-the-lot-dynamic-force-has-cowell-excited-after-sparkling-debut/502409
Syndicate manager Tim says: "Considering that Dynamic Force is the most expensive breezer we have ever purchased, the pressure was on! I am delighted for his owners, who dug deep to purchase their shares in him and we now have some discussions with Robert and co owner Tom Morley on where we go next. All credit to Robert Cowell at the moment, with our Timeform 105 rated Clarendon House and now this exciting juvenile!”
