WINNER 38 OF 2023: REVICH, trained by Richard Spencer and ridden by Jim Crowley: 'The £30k Class 2 CAA Stellar Earl Grosvenor Handicap' over 7f at the Chester May Festival.
Drawn in stall 6, the favourite had the plum draw of 1. He went off pretty quick and Revich settled towards the rear, on the inner. As they approched the bend, the horses in front were under pressure and Jim guided Revich through gaps as they came into the home straight. Moving into second, he pulled clear in a matter of strides, giving Jim time to look over his shoulder, as he won readily, by 3 lengths.

Timeform rated it as a career best 107, saying: "Proved better than ever, but this was a perfect storm, held up off a strong gallop at a track where he goes well (this is his fourth course success) and then getting a dream run through as the pace collapsed, powering clear in the final 1f."
Jim said: "They went a hell of a gallop and he was outpaced early on, but we got the split and he loved going through horses."

Syndicate manager Tim says: "To put in a career best 107 performance is fantastic and a 6th career win, he has proven to be such a fun syndicate horse. We are delighted for his owners and it was great that Richard Spencer was there to join in the post race celebrations. He was a yearling purchase from Tattersalls Ireland at €34,000 and he has now won over £147,000 for his lucky syndicate - well done to them. Marvellous to come away from the Chester May Festival with our 3 runners placing 1st,1st and 2nd from 2 races!"

WINNER 39 OF 20213: BLUE YONDER, trained by Richard Fahey and ridden by Jack Garritty: The 'Download The At The Races App Handicap' over 1m 1.5f at Wolverhampton.
A winner at Beverley on May 1st, he was carrying the 6lb penalty and the market had him as favourite. Drawn on the outer, he was held up in touch, with the 2nd favourite taking them along. Jack switched him right as the began to close them down 3f out. Coming around the bend, towards the centre of the track, he pressed the leader and took over the lead over 1f out. Pulling clear inside the final furlong, he was ridden out, with ears pricked, to win comfortably by 2 and a 1/4 lengths.
"Blue Yonder will follow up his Beverley success in similar style today, as he goes on to win well." Watch the full race replay here: https://www.attheraces.com/racecard/Wolverhampton/12-May-2023/2025
Timeform rated it as a career best t77+, saying: "Followed up back on all-weather, making short work of his penalty and scoring in the style of one that can complete the hat-trick; mid-field, travelled well, headway 3f out, led out wide over 1f out, drew clear final 1f, edged right, won readily; will continue to give a good account."
Jack told Sky Sports Racing: "He's a big, fine scopey horse and to be fair to him he is probably still learning the game. He's done that well."

Syndicate manager Tom says: "He's done that very well and there is still improvement to come, as he wandered a little in the finish and was pricking his ears. We will see what the handicapper does and formulate a plan. Congratulations to his owners on their upwardly progressive horse."
