A double at Kempton!
Thu 13 Dec 2018
We went to Kempton with three runners yesterday afternoon, with two at morning prices of 33/1 and 25/1. When our first runner WOODSIDE WONDER won the 7f nursery by 4.5 lengths we, and trainer Keith Dalgleish jumped from our seats! He was up in trip and trying the Kempton polytrack for the first time, but under Callum Rodriguez he virtually made all, enjoyed himself and pulled well away from the field in the home straight. This was the son of Camacho's 2nd win and he looks like he will give his owners an exciting 3 year old campaign! In the later 1m 3f race, we had Saryshagann and Lexington Law in the field. Saryshagann was up in grade after his course and distance win last time out and once again tried to make the running, but just did a little too much in front and ran out of fuel in the final furlong to finish a respectable 5th.
LEXINGTON LAW sat quietly towards the rear and under David Probert travelled sweetly. He was the last off the bridle and then made ground through the field to challenge for the lead in the last furlong, asserting in the final strides to win by a length. A nice surprise for his owners and trainer Alan King and a perfectly timed gutsy ride by David (who recorded a super treble on the night.) He has been given an RPR of 98 and a Timeform rating of 101 and looks like he will now receive a career high mark in the 90's. We released 10% of shares in him this morning-snap up a 2.5% share for just £625 and have some fun, as we'll keep him busy over the Winter and into the spring. See his details here: http://www.middlehamparkracing.net/horses/view,lexington-law_57.htm
Well done to both sets of owners on your wins! That's now 87 winners for us this year.
